Short words, any order: door 9 finds 0920 doors and 9 mm tags.
Left action, Enter: Place, Draw or Paint with that type.
Tab swaps to the right: Brush existing elements to this type.
Regions, lines and materials show a small preview.
What it does
- Press Ctrl+Space in Revit and start typing; the cursor is already in the search box. Clicking back into Revit closes it.
- It finds everything in the open project you can place, draw, brush or paint with. Type parts of words in any order; case, accents and punctuation are ignored.
- Left (Enter): start Revit's own tool with that type set: Place, Draw, Place Text, Dimension or Paint.
- Right: Brush existing elements to the chosen type, or Copy Name for materials. Tab switches sides and is remembered.
