Snap
Snap is a joke with a safety catch. One click plays a short effect over the active view, then hides about half of the model elements in it. Nothing in the model changes, and the elements come back whenever you want.

One click: a gauntlet, a snap, and about half the model elements dissolve.
Grids, tags, dimensions and groups always stay.
Click Snap again, four times, to bring them back.
The damage report. Nothing is deleted: it's Temporary Hide.
What it does
- Only model elements you can see in the view and that Revit allows to be hidden can vanish: walls, doors, windows, furniture, fixtures and so on. Half of the candidates, rounded down.
- Annotation, levels, grids, model groups, links and CAD always stay, so the result still reads as a plan.
- Click Snap again in the same view: “No.”, “Seriously?”, and the fourth click resets Temporary Hide/Isolate. Revit's own Reset Temporary Hide/Isolate or Undo also brings everything back.
- Nothing in the model changes. Each view keeps its own snap.
