Randomise
Run 1: give every selected tree its own random Height with Random Parameter. Run 2: turn café chairs to random angles with Random Rotate. Follow the notes, or just use the tools.

Seed
What it does
- Random Parameter lists the writable numeric parameters that every selected element shares. Leave Min or Max empty to use the current value shown in grey. Each element gets its own value between Min and Max, both ends included.
- The Seed (1–100) fixes the result: the same selection, range and seed give the same values again. Another seed gives a new mix.
- Preview writes the values in a temporary transaction, so you see them in the model. Closing the window rolls them back. Apply keeps them as one undo step, and the elements stay selected, so you can run it again.
- Group values (top right) uses only N fixed values, with Min and Max among them and each value used at least once.
- ATTRACTOR grades the values by distance to attractor elements, measured in the view plane from each element's centre. Near = Min or Max picks which end sits at the attractor, and Jitter mixes in random. This page starts with the street light remembered as the project's attractor.
- TYPE leaves the source Type unchanged. It duplicates it into Group Num new Types, named "Type - value", each with one random value, and spreads the selected instances evenly over them.
- Random Select keeps a random share of the selection; Preview highlights it in orange. Random Move asks for two points and moves each element along that vector by its own random amount from −100% to +100%.
- Random Rotate (run 2 on this page) asks for an angle origin and a second point. The angle between the view's right direction and that point, 0° to 180°, is the maximum. Each element turns by its own random angle within ± that maximum, about its location point (or the middle of its location curve, else its box centre), around the view direction. It works in plan, ceiling plan, section, elevation and orthographic 3D views. Move and Rotate have no window and no seed: each run is a new mix and one undo step, and the elements stay selected.
- All four commands are also on the right-click menu under Randomise.
