Quick Similar
How it works
- Select exactly one element, then open Quick Similar. The heading shows its category. With several elements selected Revit tells you to select one; with nothing selected you get picked cards instead.
- Each card is a parameter of that element with its current value. Left-click: select every element of the same category in the current view with the same value. The Type card matches the same type. Elements in other views are not searched.
- Saved cards belong to the category: every door shows the same nine slots, in every project. Open ▾ or type to add one; × removes it.
- Right-click a card to brush its value: click targets one by one, each change applies at once, Esc finishes. The whole round is one Undo. Type parameters can select but not brush, because they would change every instance of that type.
- 1–9 run a card; the switch at the bottom right (Tab) decides whether numbers select or brush.
