How it works
- The window opens with the two templates selected in the Project Browser, or the active view's template. Type in a box to filter the list, or open it with the arrow.
- Only settings that differ are listed: template properties (Include), view properties, model and annotation categories, filters, worksets and Revit links. A filter on one side only is one difference. Filter order is not compared.
- Right-click a value to use it in the other template. The row turns green and the value it came from turns bold. Right-click again to revert, or press Ctrl+Z in the window. Each change is one Undo in Revit.
- Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V copy a value onto the same setting: its own row, or the same field of another category, filter or workset.
- Used by lists the views of a template with their sheets. Right-click a view to assign another template, or move all of them to the other template. Find Similar Templates (⋯) lists pairs of the same kind that differ in only a few settings.
