Material
Material lives on the Paint page of Drafting Palette. Pick reads a material from a face, Paint puts it on faces, and the pattern commands place a material's surface pattern exactly where you want it.

Center Pattern: two edges (1, 2), then two pattern lines (3, 4). The pair lands in the middle.
Make Pattern Unique: after Split Face, this region gets its own tiles.
Your nine recent materials; keys 1–9 pick one.
Pick reads a material off a face. Paint: face after face, Esc ends.
What it does
- Open Drafting Palette and choose Paint (Alt+2). The current material stays on top; the nine most recent materials of the project sit below.
- Paint: click faces one after another; the status bar counts them. Faces that already have the material are skipped. Esc finishes; the whole session is one Undo.
- Center Pattern: pick two straight edges (such as opening jambs), then two pattern lines parallel to them; the fourth click centres that pair between the edges. Esc cancels at any step.
- Make Pattern Unique: after Split Face, regions share one pattern position. Click a region and it gets its own, starting at your click (planar split faces on walls, floors, roofs and ceilings).
- Reset Pattern moves the nearest pattern line to where you click; the material itself is not changed.
